The Suffolk Police Amateur Radio Club sponsors a weekly radio net.
Although this net is primarily a club net, it is open to any and all licensed amateur radio operators.
Everyone is Welcome!
Please Join Us!

VHF/UHF

This net meets on the SPARC UHF/VHF Repeater system every Monday at 2000 hrs local time here on the east coast of the US or you can connect to the Echolink LI_NY conference server node #5203 to connect to us via Echolink during this net.

Echolink

Echolink is now part of this repeater. We are node 45717 and you can find our callsign listed as K2SPD-R in the Echolink directory. Echolink enables us to connect with far away repeaters and stations via the internet. Thus worldwide contacts can be made via our local repeater system! Remember that during our club net we are connected to the LI_NY Conference server which is node #5203.

Meetings

SPARC meeting are held approximately one to two times per year as time permits. Due to schedules and various shifts that our members work, getting together as a group is extremely difficult. We have grown to rely on both our nets and e-mail to pass club traffic. There is also a bi-monthly newsletter publication published by our secretary on current club events, amateur radio articles of interest, items for sale and good and welfare information.
